SVP at Community Bank of Broward
For the past nine years, Matt Korshoff has performed as Vice President of Community Bank of Broward in Davie, Florida. In this position, Korshoff oversees numerous branches, and he has held responsibility for the founding of three new offices in a single year. A member of the organization's Asset and Liability Committee, he has also run groups dedicated to disaster recovery, electronic data processing, anti-money laundering, and the Bank Secrecy Act. Additionally, Matt Korshoff aids clients by underwriting, tracking, and approving loans and lines of credit.
Before accepting his current role, Matt Korshoff performed as Vice President and Branch Manager of City National Bank of Florida. An area leader in commercial and consumer loans, he established a new branch that obtained $25 million in deposits in less than two years after opening. Earlier in his career, Korshoff functioned as President of FedFirst Bank. In this position he created business plans; developed a Board of Directors; and formed relationships with government officials and regulators in Washington, DC, and Atlanta, Georgia.
Matt Korshoff attended Broward College for an Associate's degree in Business Administration. Continuing his education, Korshoff enrolled in the American Institute of Banking and garnered a General Banking Diploma and certificates in Commercial Lending and Deposit Operation. Most recently, he completed courses in Executive Bank Management at Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking and finished at the top of his class for a simulated bank exercise.
Outside of his career, Matt Korshoff participates in many community activities. An Advisory Board Member for the Broward County School Board, he also serves as an Economics Instructor for Junior Achievement of South Florida and as a Board Member for the American Lung Association of South Florida. During his spare time, he enjoys music, movies, and sports.
